The cost to enter ALL events is $80, a $40 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration. The remainder is do in cash at the pageant if not paid ahead of time.
Age Groups Are: (subject to change depending on number of the contestants and ages)
0-23 months, 2-4 years, 5-7years, 8-10 years, 11-15years
Schedule:
Registration 11:45 to 12:45 Pageant Begins at 1:00pm
Beauty wear from 1:00 until approximatley 1:30
Theme wear begins at approximatley 2:00 until approximatley 2:30pm
Optional OOC after Theme in contestant number order
1 hour break
Crowning will begin at approximately 4:00
After crowning all contestants may pick up their photos, composites, portfolios, and score sheets at the judges table and take any extra photos they would like on stage!
Events:
1. Photo- this is any photo you choose. It may be professional or a snap shot. No Glitz photos allowed. Photos are judged on facial beauty & overall impression. Size 8x10 works best. Nothing larger is accepted and it should NOT be smaller than 5x7. Photos should be in a photo protecter if possible. No Frames!
2. Beauty/formal wear- This is the first on stage event. Contestants should wear a dress that is well fitting and looks good. This may be a simple dress, a Sunday best, a party dress or a pageant dress. There are NO rules saying what dresses you can or cannot wear. Keep in mind the contestants are judged on facial beauty and personality only. This does not have to be an expensive dress. Contestants will use the stage to show off their beauty and personality. This is normally a slower walk. For little ones try to get them to smile, wave and blow kisses to the judges. Older contestants may choose to model or walk however they wish to show off their beauty and personality.
3. Theme wear- For the Boots~N~Tiaras this is any type of western wear! You can wear anything you want and use any music you want :) This may be a simple off the rack outfit or custom made outfit. This can be a costume or outfit of your choosing. You have a lot of freedom here. Anything goes!! Feel free to be as creative as you want with this one. Use the stage to show off your beauty and personality. Your child may or may not have a routine and that is okay. Think upbeat and fashion show walks. This is a fun event and the contestants should have fun on stage. I will provide music for this event, however if you have your own music please bring it on cd, it should be the ONLY song on the cd to help make the flow of the pageant move more quickly, please have it labeled and turn it in at check in or to make things even easier you can email me the music ahead of time to trthurston1@gmail.com
OPTIONAL #1 - Photo Portfolio-this is a book of 5x7 or larger photos (6-10 photos) showing many different looks, outfits, personalities of your child. This is an OPTIONAL event. If you would like to enter it is $5 at check in. The winner of this category will get a special prize on stage.
OPTIONAL #2 - COMPOSITE - This is a collage of photos on an 8x11 or 5x7 sheet can be one or 2 sided. If you would like to enter it is $5 at check in. The winner of this category will get a special prize on stage.
OPTIONAL #3 - We will also have an OVERALL photogenic JACKPOT, you pay $10 to enter this at Check in - it is ANY NATURAL PHOTO of your choice, the winner will go to ANY AGE and that person will win HALF THE POT of the entries in CASH!!!!!!!!! They will also get the title of OVERALL MOST PHOTOGENIC!!!!
OPTIONAL #4 - OOC - your outfit can be any theme and you can provide your own music - Be creative! $10 to enter
RULES:
Natural Pageant:
•This is a natural pageant only. NO fake teeth, eyelashes, hair or tans will be allowed.
•Acceptable makeup on contestants 10 yr and above; light mascara, light blush and light lip gloss. Colored eyeshadow and eyeliner are NOT acceptable. Makeup should be age appropriate.
•Beauty wear will consist of Sunday best, church dress, pageant dress, flower girl dress or any dress you choose, You are NOT judged on your dress
•Contestants are judged on facial beauty, overall impression and personality ONLY!
•Scores from beauty and theme wear will be added together to get the overall winners. The highest scores in the entire pageant will be pulled for Supreme titles. After that the highest score in each age group will be awarded the queen title. The remaining contestants will be crowned as princesses on the stage. Everyone will be awarded a crown and trophy for participating!
•If you enter extra photos the highest photo score will be used. $5 for additional photos
•Minimum of 10 contestants per pageant required or director reserves right to cancel.
•Pageants will have a set entry fee.
•Good sportsmanship is required at all times by contestants, parents and guests. Failure to comply will result in disqualification without a refund and any rewards received will be forfeited.
•All judges' decisions are final.
•By signing the application online submission form, you affirm that all information is true and correct and that you have read the rules & regulations. You also understand that Diamond Naturals Pageants or anyone connected with this pageant including the host facility is not responsible for loss or injury incurred at or in travel to & from the pageant.
•Age groups may be changed by the director depending on the number of entries. I will split age groups as needed.
•When you enter a pageant there is a non-refundable $40 Deposit that is required. This can be paid through Pay-Pal to trthurston1@gmail.com or you may contact me to make other arrangements. The deposit will go towards your total cost of the pageant. The remaining balance may be paid anytime before the pageant by using Pay-Pal or in CASH ONLY at the pageant.
Crowning
In each age group there will be a Queen. These contestants will win a Crown and Queen Sash in addition to their participant trophy! The Queen title will go to the contestant in the age group with the highest combined score from all stage events in that age group. All of the other girls in the age group will be crowned as princesses. They will get a crown & trophy on stage.
Everyone is crowned on stage and recognized!
Side Awards will be awarded in each age group. These are prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, prettiest smile, best personality and most photogenic.The winners of these will get an award. Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair, and Prettiest Smile are judged during group line up personality is judged while on stage for both on stage events, and photogenic is judged during 1 hour break of pageant.
If you do not get crowned a queen or princess in your age group you will be called for a Supreme title. These are the highest scores in the pageant. Supreme titles are based on the scores from beauty and theme wear added together.
Supreme Titles: (subject to change depending on number of contestants)
Ultimate Grand Supreme- The highest score in the pageant!
Elite Beauty Supreme - Highest Beauty score of the pageant (beauty scores from all events added together)
Diamond Supreme- The second highest score in the pageant (after the Ultimate Grand Supreme and Elite Beauty).
Outfit of Choice Supreme/THEME Supreme- The highest score of the Outfit of Choice Portion of the pageant
Beauty Supreme- The highest score of the beauty portion of the pageant
Grand Supreme - Next Highest overall score
With over 25 contestants I will add more supreme titles, with over 30 contestants I will split titles by age group and add more titles! I also usually add some special awards not listed above!
